Dawley Wanderers Football Club – Est. 1993. Coaching children of all abilities – currently running sides at U9, U7 Girls, U11 Girls, U12 Girls, U12, U13, and U17. We are an England Football Accredited club playing in the Telford Junior League, Shropshire Girls League and Salop Leisure League.

Dawley Wanderers U12 girls competed against Shrewsbury Up and Comers in a fantastic end to end match today.
We had a full squad for the first time and it was fantastic to see the girls playing as a team for each other.
Passing was much better with the girls looking up to find each other on the pitch and move the ball forward.
They managed to come back from a 0-2 deficit to draw 2-2, battling to the end and showing fantastic passion.
Players Player was Tilly who was strong across the pitch showing fantastic determination and desire for the ball.
Parents Player was Willow who was amazing in goal pulling off some vital saves which required her to be very brave.
Coaches player was Alexa who played in a new position today at RB, although she was a little unsure at first she was really strong and made some brilliant interceptions.
Captain today was Ella M who despite feeling unwell played her role amazingly.

The under-9s showed their respect on Remembrance Sunday, by wearing the poppy on their kit and observing a minute's silence before kick-off. 👏🏻👏🏻
